Located in Potchefstroom, we aim to give you the best possible service to recycle your waste


Established by Brent Mann in 2003, Pick-Up Waste specializes in plastics, cardboard, paper and glass collection.

Mann is passionate about the environment and is very concerned with the state of nature and the impact of waste on the environment. He firmly believes in recycling of waste, where possible, to ensure scarce resources are not depleted nor dumped on landfill sites.

Pick-Up Waste prides itself on favoring those people who are disadvantaged, as well as physically disabled but mentally capable. It is envisaged to give every individual the opportunity to develop to maximum potential, and promote from within where possible.

The Pick-Up Waste Commitment


We will continue to forge alliances with the top waste disposal companies, waste disposal equipment manufacturers of the world, and will supply only the best available products to our clients. Pick-Up Waste (Pty) Ltd therefore will only stock products and use systems that are approved by at least one or more of the following marks: SABS, UL, NFPA, FPA and/or EU.



Distribution and Service


Pick-Up Waste (Pty) Ltd provides containers where and when required, as agreed between the parties for waste collection. We try to suit the client’s needs and arrange Pick-Ups as regularly as is required. You can feel confident that your needs will be served correctly every time and the first time around.



Operations


We operate from premises rented from Fest Extinguishing Services (Pty) Ltd t/a Fest Fire Security. They collect Post Consumer Recyclate (PCR) from various sources within Potchefstroom. These sources include various shopping malls and other industrial and commercial outlets. The project now intends to collect PCR from the residential areas in the CBD as well.
